American Cancer Society Relay For Life

We need volunteers to serve the Granada relay team on April 13 and 14 at JC Bermudez Park in Doral. This is an opportunity to support a very important organization that ﬁghts against the disease that affects many of our lives directly and indirectly. You will be able to pray for those who are battling the disease, and for the survivors and for the families of those who are no longer with us. The funds raised by the relay team will be used to support the American Cancer Society’s research and ﬁght against cancer.

The new year is a great time to clean out and simplify. On Saturday, February 25, from 9am to 2pm, the Children’s Ministry will be hosting a yard sale on the playground. All proceeds will go towards a worthy, not-yet-determined cause. All nearly-new or only-slightly-worn donations are welcome. Please wait & drop off donations at the Cornerstone Florida Room after Sunday February 19.

Women in Community

The Extraordinary Women made a spontaneous, but heartfelt, decision for this year: “Let’s share a meal with another group of women in our community.” Sharing meals builds relationships and feeds our hunger for community. We are planning to share lunch with women of the Agape Ministry, which helps women rebuild their lives as they are introduced to the Lord Jesus. Sharing a meal is a way to connect and to nourish bodies, minds, and relationships. Join us at 11:30AM, February 11th, at Agape Family Ministries, Residential Facility, 22790 SW 112 Avenue in Cutler Ridge. Please bring your favorite covered dish and a note of encourage that could be uplifting for a woman in the Agape program.
