We are all set for Wednesday, May 24th to plant orchids that are native to South Florida. We will begin at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall with a short presentation by Dr. Carl Lewis, Director of Fairchild Tropical Gardens. Then on to the orchid planting! Everyone is invited to participate.
Sex, drugs, and religion all have something in common. What is it?
We all want intimacy, but where do we find it?
Dr. Jeff Mallinson (D.Phil from Oxford University) and Dan Van Voorhis (PhD from St. Andrews) share personal moments from their own lives and insights from teaching thousands of students about sex, addiction, and our quest for intimacy.
“If we are going to capture that which was lost, we will have to rediscover intimacy and hope.”
Daniel van Voorhis

We will be visiting Operation Arctic
June 12–16, 2017
Every day, our kids are bombarded with the message that the Bible isn’t the true Word of God, that it can’t be trusted to tell us the truth about the past or, more importantly, about how we can receive the gift of eternal life. At Operation Arctic, your kids will warm up to the Word as they explore the coolest Book on the planet and discover how we can know for sure that the Bible is God’s written word to us! We hope you can join us!
Pick up a registration form on Sundays at the little patio table or in the church office during the week. Spaces will fill up fast!
On Saturday, June 3, we will hold a baptism service at Bill Baggs Park in Key Biscayne. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact Gaby Viggiani at firstname.lastname@example.org or at ext. 113 to schedule a conversation with one of our pastors. We will have lunch and beach time after the service. Please bring food to share.
Wednesday nights at 6:50pm join David Garber and Nathaniel Melvin as they lead a new study on the book Core Christianity by Michael Horton. This will be an 11-week study starting May 17th in the Fellowship Hall.
On Sunday, May 21st, there will be an opportunity to learn more about church membership, to share the story of your relationship with Christ, and to get a tour of the Granada campus. If you’ve ever considered becoming a member of the church, this is the place to start. Please let us know if you are planning to take part, or you may pass along this information to friends and family. Contact email@example.com for more information.
This Sunday, April 30th, we begin our new Sermon Series at Granada, Life.
Join a new couples class at 9:30am in room 14. This class will cover the marriage relationship and how to build and sustain a great one over a lifetime.
The adult Bible study that meets in the café Sundays at 11am will be studying the book of Philemon starting April 9th. Philemon concerns an issue of broad social concern in the ancient world and today. Paul pleads the case that faith and love should determine the action of the Christian.
Each Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Café, EW is studying the book of Hebrews. Come join us as we learn together how faith can stretch us. Women of all ages welcome!
